Godfather = padrino / Godmother = madrina. Observa que el plural padrinos (referido al padrino y a la madrina) se traduce como godparents:
Quienes seran los padrinos? / Who are the godparents going to be?

 Padres en ingls es parents y no 'fathers' que es un error comn cuando se hace una traduccin literal del espaol.


'El Padrino' proporcion a Marlon Brando unos beneficios de 20 millones de dlares. Fue su segundo oscar, que nunca recogi. Brando envi en su lugar a una joven india llamada Pequea Pluma, quien expuso su rechazo del premio en protesta por la forma en que se trata a los indios en las pelculas.
