Terry, what does the word 'family' mean to you?
To me personally, not a lot. I’m not a family man.
I see. So, should the mother or the father be the head of the family?
I feel that the stronger personality should be the head of the family. In as much as, if the wife is good with finances, then she’s got her side to look after. And if the husband is good in D.I.Y. etc, he should be…he’s got his share.
And who’s the boss in your family?
I feel that my partner is the boss, although I have a basically a fifty per cent input.
Should the of a family live in the same area?
No, I don’t think they should.
Why’s that?
Well, wherever they live they still are of the family.
What differences are there between a Spanish family and a British family?
I can’t answer that because I’ve never lived with a Spanish family to see how they operate.
Why do we need families?
Very difficult question to answer……a refuge in times of trouble.
